Love Shouldn't Hurt

Our Philanthropy

The Epsilon Theta chapter of Alpha Chi Omega supports local agencies including WEAVE Inc. and the St. John's Program for Real Change. Both of these amazing organizations strive to end domestic violence by providing various forms of support to women and children in need. Every semester, our sisters come together to help raise money and awareness for our cause at our philanthropic events such as Mr. & Ms. AXO, and Pizza Pie With Alpha Chi. With the tremendous support of our wonderful alumna, other Panhellenic and IFC Greek organizations on campus, as well as the greater Sacramento community, we have been able to raise over $6,000 last year for Domestic Violence Awareness!

In observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Founders Day, Alpha Chi Omega's are encouraged to participate in events in their communities during the month of October. Our Luminary Project is held on our campus every October in an effort to bring awareness to our community about domestic violence. In addition to the Luminary Project, our sisters participate in many activities on campus, for instance, handing out coffee and stickers with the WEAVE support Hotline phone number.
